BIOBASED AND BIODEGRADABLE MATERIAL

Using proprietary modification technology, Wafa has developed biobased composites for the production of tableware, cutlery, bags, etc. The biobased carbon content can exceed 50%. Meanwhile, Wafa distributes eco-friendly bio-based polyethylene (Bio-PE) manufactured by Braskem of Brazil. Its bio-based carbon content is over 85%, serving as a renewable alternative to conventional petroleum-based polyethylene. Wafa has developed PLA composites and products for 3D printing filaments, certain heat-resistant cutlery and PBAT composites for different types of bags.

BIOBASED AND BIODEGRADABLE PRODUCT

Using proprietary modification technology, Wafa has developed biobased products, including tableware, cutlery, bags, etc. These products feature a bio-based carbon content of over 50% and have obtained OK-BIOBASED and FDA certifications. Wafa has also developed biodegradable products, such as biodegradable cutlery, 3D printing filaments, and various types of film bags. These products comply with EN 13432 and ASTM D 6400 standards and hold BPI and FDA certifications.
